LASURATORY CULTURE OF ELITERPE ACUTIFRDNS IN XIAMEN HARBOUR

The Eutepe acutifrons(Copepods: Harpacticoida) which was cultured with Heteragroeu sp. (Xanthophyta:Heterocapsales) all the year round was sampled and sifted from Xiamen Harbour.The laboratory experiment showed that the higher density of Heterogroea ap. was unfavourable for culture, but the higher erature was favourable for interval spawning and hatching process of capepods. The Euterpe acutifrons was one of the fins living food for larvae of fish and prawns.
